The Billings Urban Indian Health and Wellness Center (BUIHWC) offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services tailored to the urban Indian community. Our clinical services include annual physicals, sports physicals, and management of chronic conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. We also provide care for common ailments such as colds, influenza, and non-life-threatening injuries. Preventive care is a priority, with immunizations and health screenings available for patients of all ages.
Beyond physical health, BUIHWC is committed to mental and emotional wellbeing. We offer a State-certified Chemical Dependency Program, providing intensive outpatient care and assessments. Our mental health services address issues like anxiety and depression, while innovative programs such as Wellbriety meetings and Native-based healing approaches tackle intergenerational trauma. To ensure comprehensive care, we provide transportation services for Natives in the Billings area to Crow and Pryor clinics, and facilitate referrals to community partners when specialized care is needed.
